·   Each team must have two extra ice times to schedule home games. If not the ice scheduler for the centre must attend to be able to assign extra ice as needed.

·   League play from Oct 2 to Jan 31

·   Novice, Atom, and Peewee require 10 home games, so 12 date and times are required.

·   Bantam and Midget require 11 home games, so 13 data and times are required.

·   Divisions must be completely scheduled before coach leaves.

·   Maximum of 2 TBA games per division before scheduling is done. Extra TBA games may result in fines.

·   TBA games will be scheduled by the league representatives at the Oct meeting.

Game Sheets

$25 per game sheet that is late or missing. The game sheets must be mailed on Monday of each week to the league statistician. Late or missing sheets will result in fines to the home teams centre.

Trainers

Last year too many trainers received bench penalties and suspensions. Trainers receiving suspensions for similar infractions may have their Trainers card pulled.  If a trainer is ejected from the game, the other team’s trainer may fill in (Doesn’t have to), a qualified alternate from stands can be signed on to the game sheet or if the coach if he/she carries both credentials can step in. Failure to replace the trainer results in the stopping of the game and the forfeit of the team with the offending trainer.

Old Game Sheets

Reserve old game sheets for exhibition games and local league play only.

Player movement

Blenheim got approval for a 1st year Peewee aged player to drop to Atom as it is his first year of hockey and has limited skating abilities.

Mooretown has a similar situation but approval has not been given yet.  An evaluation of this player to take place before approval is given.

GMHA will be reimbursed  for ice costs with regards to a fine we received for a disputed game cancellation due to weather.
