Bingo
- A contact number is needed by
“Sarnia Bingo” to let us know of any cancellations due to weather.
- Where does the Bingo
honorariums go?
- Brian would like a Bingo Report submitted
Honorariums
- Question raised regarding
honorariums that are being paid out. Why
are some volunteers receiving them while many others are not
?

Shamrock- Cindy Staels
-Protested A 175- Belmont cancelled due to lack
of players. League turned down due to
weather conditions.
-Protested A173&P173 -
both with Lambeth- Lambeth
accepted fine for B173, however was not aware of P173. Lambeth looking
into P173- $150 cheque will come from centre to
league, then sent
on to GMHA
- If your centre wishes to
protest an OMHA game, contact Sue M. within 48hrs. She
will assist with forms
-Tournaments- HST charge? -
being looked into
OMHA play downs
1/4finals- all refs will be
assigned by Sue M. All scores must be
called in to her immediately, both home and away.

-Playoff rules posted on
Shamrock website

-Game scores must be reported
to Cindy immediately so she can report to league.

Questions regarding
reclassification of centres. Every 5-6 years there is a review of centres. June is the
date of notification. It is best to have
a team or couple of teams move at OMHA time rather than a whole centre.

TRI COUNTY - Cheryl Murray
Meeting was cancelled due to
weather
Discussion regarding a Peewee
LL game
- Complaints regarding the
lack of control by refs. Angry parent
from visiting team entered Ref room after game.
Same parent disrupted the following game by attempting to speak with the
timekeeper.
- Statements have been taken
regarding the above incidents
- Recommendation - Ref room to
be kept locked at all times, timekeepers are to be informed on actions to be
taken with disruptive players in the penalty box. They are to sound the buzzer to have a ref
assist them if there is a problem.

regarding the above
GIRLS - Bob Thirlwall
-Provincial play down in Brantford
this coming weekend
-Games are in place for the
rest of league playoffs
-would like to see a “Girls
Hockey Day” in Glencoe with a game played by the Canadian Women’s Team
- an
opportunity to get the girls back to Glencoe to play hockey
-Request made for the
tournament to run the weekend of Nov 13-14
Registration for 2009 - completed
Registration for 2010 - Carbon copies not completed,
Registration will be February 27th 12-3
If players are not registered
by April 30th there is a $75 penalty
- Rep teams should pay more
due to extra ice that some feel they use with playoffs. This will be discussed for the 2011 season.
Season Passes
- An option was submitted by Tim Hamilton for
the 2010 season

about a $60 per family (up to 2 skaters) for league games only, $75 for 3
skaters

about working in a “Family Ice Pass” for public skating - Tom Holder will look
into it.

-Wade Club is interested in
running a summer skating camp in Glencoe, looking for us to assist him with
recruiting skaters
- 2 last weeks of summer
- waiting for dates regarding
a chip clinic
- will send in a request for
coaching clinics to OMHA
Sponsorship
-one
of our 2009 sponsors would like his $500 donation to be divided , $250 to be
put towards a tournament.
-the $500 sponsorship given to
each team is to go directly to a team to offset the cost of ice etc. not tournaments
-miscommunication on our part

-June will be the deadline for
Coaching applications for the 2010/2011 season
-Coaches are able to register
on line
Ways & Means
- $2900 profit will be made
from the “Dream Draw” - all but 3books were sold as they were lost by the
sellers.
-Food Basic GC are now available
-Maple Lodge Fundraiser -
orders placed by 55families only - $1791.00 profit made
-Top Sellers will be placed on
the website
- Money from the Maple Lodge
Fundraiser is to go towards new Hockey Jerseys.
Ice Scheduling
-Schedule proposal due March 1st
-Greg needs team numbers,
tournament dates, clinic dates etc. so a schedule can be drawn up for approval
- Direction from the board was
given regarding practice ice times
