Meeting August 3, 2010.
Meeting called to order at 7 p.m.
Attendance: Cindy Staels, Tom Holder, Eddie Gould, Tim Kunkel, Marilyn Gosnell, Sandy Crosby, Cheryl Murray, Greg McFadden

4. Fill other Board positions Tim Kunkel is in communication with Shaun Mooser for referee in chief. Possibly give him a pass to his family, for assisting GMHA as a non board member.

Ask Shaun if hell do with no pass. Possibly ask Jeff Howe with a pass first.
MOTION for a sponsor entitled to one family pass per season. Tom Holder/Sandy all in favour

Shamrock Report - The
Shamrock league will play in a group of 6 teams including:
Belmont
Glencoe
Port Stanley
East Lambton
West Lorne
Thamesford
2 games home and away vs. above.= 10
games
Then 1 or 2 games vs. other centres
for total of 24 games. (will pass grouping chart around at meeting)
League to begin Sept. 24 and end
Feb. 6. 18 of the 24 games will be scheduled before Dec. 31st.
Ice times for Glencoe with black out
dates due Aug. 9th at Shamrock meeting. Marilyn Gosnell will be
attending in my absence.
Lucan looking for midget goalie
(they have 3 teams and only 2 goalies)
OMHA report
If a coach uses a player or coaching
staff illegally more than 2 times in a season then the coach will be suspended
for the balance of the season.
ie. unqualified trainer
suspended player........this is one offence

arrived.
Jim Crosby will be allowed to coach the
Bantam LL team even though he has coached the same team more than 2 X. There is a rule pertaining to the Shamrock
league only that allows a Shamrock coach to not be allowed to coach the same
group of kids for more than 2 years in a row.
Tom Holder to place add in paper
regarding tryout dates with times and stipulating that payment must be made to
Sandy Crosby before going on the ice.

Girls report West Lorne and Bothwell met. West Lorne has the most
girls registered. Intermediate team
hopefully in Glencoe.
Ice Report
waiting to hear from Bothwell regarding September practice ice, possibly
sharing ice with them.

Chad Garner stood and talked about
how he wanted to play in Mount Brydges.
His Dad , Todd, would like a release.

Coaches meeting August 25 7:30
at arena horizon room 7:00 board to meet to discuss numbers for teams.
$20.00 for tryout fees to be
collected during tryouts
Cheryl Murray suggested letter sent
informing parents on any updates with GMHA.
HST refund to players possibly. Approximately $50.00 to each player??? Need
final number of players registered for season.
