League Reports

Shamrock & OMHA Report  sent in by Cindy Staels

-West Lorne Bantam travel team has 11 players registered. Shamrock league voted for them to play A/E. Any games scheduled with West Lorne are now cancelled.
-Dennis Kints the Shamrock Statistician would like scores of games emailed to him only if your center "WINS" to: scores@quadro.net.
He would like all info placed on the subject line, then he does not even need to open the email. (ie. Game N94 Oct. 1, Glencoe 4, Lucan 2) Email also if game is a tie. This enables faster tracking of games and scores for the Shamrock website. Game sheets will still be mailed in as usual and he will confirm with game sheet. I have emailed all coaches regarding this new procedure.
-Any plaques won by our centre must be engraved and returned by Jan. 2011. Peewee rep. team is the only team with a plaque.
-Juvenile Shamrock league now has 10 teams. Port Stanley has dropped out. Cancel any games with Port Stanley on schedule.

Local League Report - sent in by Tim Kunkel

-request to have contact info for every coach and manager submitted ASAP
-Novice C (Tyke) count around the room would indicate there will be 7 teams
in the league this year. I advised the league as of right now, Glencoe will
not be icing a Tyke team but would know for sure after our next Board
meeting. Registration for Tyke will be $50 per team and the teams will
abide by the LL By Laws
-each centre needs to check with the league before posting LL Board info on
their respective web sites
-OMHA Report - cannot have Asst Coach or Asst Trainer sign the game sheet if
a Manager hasn't signed. The Head Coach can only sign in the Head Coach
spot and not in any other spot on the game sheet. An Asst Coach may sign on
as Manager if your Manager is not at the game. Asst Coaches can sign on as
Head Coach if the Head Coach is not at the game. Thus the 2 positions that
are mandatory on the game sheet are the Head Coach and Manager.
-PRS Clinic - Oct 14 Tilbury (info on web site)
-Trainers Clinic - Oct 23 Chatham St Clair College (info on web site)
-Motion made, voted on and accepted to allow a 1st yr (of hockey ever)
midget player to play bantam
-Motion made, voted on and accepted to allow 2 pee wee players (1st yr) to
drop to atom
-Motion made, voted on and accepted to allow a team to go with 1 more kid on
the roster than allowed
-game sheets are to be sent in ASAP to allow the stats to be compiled. Bob
Pearson takes care of this for Glencoe.
-reminder to add the game number to the game sheet. Bob Pearson takes care
of the game sheets for Glencoe.
-next meeting is Nov 9th at 7:30 pm in Dresden. This will also be the Tyke
